A canopy bed has a ceiling built into its frame. You can hang curtains from this ceiling, and these curtains block out the noise and light that can be so distracting when you are trying to sleep. Canopy beds come in a variety of materials--both wood and metal frame--and in many styles. Most models start at full size beds and size up to kings.
Most beds in the 21st century consist of the bed frame and the mattress, with the mattress sitting on top of a solid base made of either a sprung base or wooden slats. Most modern beds also include the option of a headboard for resting against and medical beds can even include side rails and in some cases both types of beds also include footboards. Beds that have headboards also normally have bed skirts which double up as dust covers that both protect and hide the actual bed frame under the mattress.
You may consider using bamboo sheets in place of plain cotton, these are made of cotton and bamboo fibers mixed in some ratio to give a smoother feel than a plain cotton bed sheet. Bed sheets should be layered in the perfect order.
